Defence Community Organisation (DCO)

In recognising the important link and support families make to the Australian Defence Force (ADF), the DCO was formed in 1996. The DCO provides support and manages a whole host of services to enhance the well being of all Defence members, single or married, and their families.  DCO aims to help members achieve and maintain a balance between their service and personal lives.

Located in Vivi Street Puckapunyal, the DCO places a emphasis on minimising the effects a posting to Puckapunyal may have on the ADF member and/or their family.  Covering areas such as education, family and military liaison, the DCO assists many of the numerous community groups and associations within Puckapunyal.  DCO has 9 programs in their mandate that assist ADF members and their families.  Some of these include: Spouse Employment, education and Information Dissemination.
